Need more Motivation?

This past week I was feeling very unmotivated in my businesses.  I felt like I was losing my MoJo and I didn’t like it.  I know what it feels like to be excited to wake up early, charge into the day, make good choices, drink enough water… and work my ass off to make my dreams happen.

But this week, I wasn’t feeling it.

So you know what I did?  I gave myself some grace.  I read parts of inspirational books, (more on that in a minute), and I got after it!

I know that motivation doesn’t come to us… we go after motivation!  It takes action!  Grab yourself a glass of water, (because you know you need it), and watch this short video.  Then, get up and start grabbing your own gusto… you’ve got this!

Part of giving myself grace was giving myself time with a dear friend who understands the struggle of being a woman entrepreneur.  It’s true that when you hang out with people who uplift you, you will strive to be the best version of yourself.  Take a minute today and take an inventory of the people you spend the most amount of time with.  Do they help you to succeed, or do they keep you comfortable in remaining small?  Check out this message to uplift you!

One of the books I read is called How to Get Sh*t Done, by Erin Falconer.  Erin writes specifically for women and the book is filled with great ideas and direction!  One of my biggest take aways is that we each need to decide what is important to us… not what is important to anyone else.  Suddenly, the fact that I haven’t scrubbed my hardwood floors in over 3 weeks doesn’t really matter!  (By the way, I’m looking for some help with cleaning my house… know anyone?)  Oh yeah, another great point she made was outsourcing.

This past week was warm and humid, but by the end of this week we will be having fall like days here in Minnesota and you know what that means!!!  Yep, fall sweaters and boots!!  Yay!  I’ve had a pair of black boots for over 10 years and so I decided that it is finally time to add in another pair and I found a super comfortable, shorter but not bootie, style at Burkhartzmeyers here in Faribault.  I can’t believe that I finally found a pair of boots before the snow started to fly!   If you aren’t in the area, they are called Rieker.  Take it from this girl with bad feet… these babies are comfy and cute!

Obviously I’ve been a little preoccupied with the topic of Motivation and this is why:

My coaching program called, How to Create Momentum, Motivation and Success in Any Area of Your LIfe, is going to launch on October 15th.  The cost for the course is $39 and it is 21 days long.  You need to be a part of this group if you want to…

  • Learn how to move from putting everyone else’s needs before your own, to begin following your own dreams… and figuring out what those dreams are!
  • Choose a goal that you will accomplish by the end of the 21 days. (If the goal is something like weight loss or a new career, you will get the jump start you need in this program.)
  • Learn how to create momentum that leads to motivation that leads to passion and success… no matter what your goal is!
  • Work privately on your specific goal, while being encouraged by the other members of the group via the private Facebook group.
  • Learn to use these same skills in other areas of your life… at any time!

I’ve created an Eventbrite link to sign up. Message me if you have any questions, but just think of how empowering it will be to start 2019 with all of these skills!

Make it a Glorious Day, because it’s all up to you!

xo,

Heidi
